"Taapsee Pannu talks about her recently released film ‘Pink’. She talks about the proportion of realism mixed in the film, and how it was a test for her to adapt such environment during the shoot. We’ve seen her super transformation from ‘Chashme Badoor’ to ‘Baby.. more’ and now ‘Pink’; Taapsee opens up and explains how she’s a director’s actor."

"Actors are gifted with powers of imagination. When people tell us a story, in our head the show has already started. I’m actually imagining these things happening to myself and that makes me feel emotional and vulnerable. It took a week-long break to come out of this film.. more. I do think this is my best performance till date. I never thought I’d be the kind of actress who can cry without glycerine."
Taapsee Pannu bares her heart out in this conversation with Mohini Chaudhuri

FilmyNerd: Such clarity of thoughts and so much honesty. She is truly one of a kind. I do hope that she keeps doing lot of mov.. moreies, even if she plans to do other things. More than acting skills, she brings a very different energetic sort of vibe into a role.
"The most challenging aspect was that it is a thriller. This kind of a thriller is very unprecedented. To keep the pace of such a film is very, very challenging. The entire second half of the film is court-room drama. The location is the same in this scenario. There are no v.. moreisual dynamics. That’s what makes it an uphill task."
says editor of the film, Bodhaditya Banerjee

FilmyNerd: It's interesting how the makers managed to get the audience on their toes while also delivering the 'message', they wanted to convey.
"Amitabh Bachchan has the voice, the charm, and the love and affection of the people. So we went to him for that…so we were not even looking at gender. The biggest thing is that the person, in his heart of hearts, has to somehow believe in that philosophy or school of thou.. moreght because it can’t be faked. If he’s faking it, it’ll show. If any one of us is faking it, it’ll show."
Writer Ritesh Shah speaks on the choice of Amitabh Bachchan and how they constructed scenes for the film.

FilmyNerd: Interesting point about believing in philosophy of the film, without which it would have come out as forced and lac.. moreked the connect. Film works because it comes from the heart.
"Far more than its translation of reality, the triumph of Pink lies in the fact that it addresses the idea of “jurrat”. Of women daring to live by themselves in a house separate from their parents; of wearing what they please and hanging their lingerie to dry in public v.. moreiew; of having messy, complicated relationships without giving a toss about whether their neighbours will later say 'unke yahan log aate thhe'."

FilmyNerd: The film predictably has triggered a lot of articles coming about it, which is such a great thing. It's often said .. morethat cinema merely reflects society and doesn't change anything, but when you see people's reactions and what they felt after this film, surely one can say that this much needed reflection is causing the change.
At NDTV India's Youth For Change Conclave, in the backdrop of their latest film Pink, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Director - Producer Shoojit Sircar and Actor Taapsee Pannu talked about the double standards that women have to deal with in the society and what can b.. morering about a change in people's attitude towards women."
